Dr. Le Anh Tuan obtained a bachelor’s degree in 1997, a master’s degree in 1999 from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Ph.D. degree in 2005 from Graz University of Technology, Austria, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He has been attending HUST since 1997 as a lecturer, promoted associate professor in 2009, and full professor in 2017. He was the Dean of the school of transportation engineering, HUST from 2014 to April 2021. From April 2021 he has been approved the Chairman of the HUST university council by the Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. Dr. Le has conducted national research projects and international collaboration projects regarding internal combustion engines, fuels for IC engines, conventional and alternative power source vehicles; related policies on low-carbon transport, in general, and electric vehicles development, in particular. Dr. Le published 2 books, 4 book chapters, 2 patents, 39 ISI/Scopus papers, and many other conference, journal papers. Dr. Le is a Co-Chair of the On-Road Vehicle Session, National Conference on Traffic Safety of Vietnam; member of the national standardized and regulation committees for internal combustion engines, vehicles, and on gasoline, diesel and biofuels; committee chair, The Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE); Executive member, Vietnam Association of Science Editing (VASE); member of International Society of Automotive Engineering; member of the Council for Decarbonizing Transport for Asia; editorial board member of plenty international and domestic journals.
